vCard QR Code Generator
Turn your contact details into a QR code that any phone camera can save as a contact card in one scan. Free, no sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.
Content
Choose what people get when they scan the code.
Fill in the details you want to share - scanning the code saves them straight to the phone as a contact card.
Scanning the code joins the network straight from the iOS and Android camera apps. The details are kept in this browser only.
Create an EPC (SEPA) payment code: banking apps in euro countries scan it to prefill a transfer - no account access is shared. Amounts are in EUR.
A full code, or a short code with a city, e.g. 9G8F+6X Berlin. Find it in Google Maps under the place's address.

How to make a vCard QR code in 3 steps
- Fill in only the fields you want to share - name, phone numbers, email, address and website.
- Style the code in step 2: colors, a logo, dot shapes or a template.
- Download the PNG or SVG and test-scan it with your phone before printing it on cards.
What happens when someone scans a vCard QR code
A vCard QR code stores a contact card in the standard vCard format directly inside the pattern. When a camera scans it, the phone recognizes the format and offers to create a new contact with the details already filled in - name, numbers, email, address and website - so nothing has to be typed. Current iPhones and Android phones handle this in their built-in camera apps, and on older devices any free scanner app works. Before you print, test-scan the code yourself and proofread every field, because whatever is encoded ends up in the other phone exactly as written. Keep the logo small and print the code at least 2 cm wide so it stays easy to scan.
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Creating, styling and downloading QR codes here costs nothing, requires no registration and adds no watermark. There is no paid version of this tool.
Do the generated QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly inside the pattern, so the code itself never expires and depends on no service. A URL code keeps working as long as the website it points to stays online.
Can I use the QR codes for my business?
Yes. The codes are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial projects, products and paid advertising. No attribution is required.
Which download format should I choose?
PNG is the safest all-round choice for screens and documents, JPG is fine when file size matters, WebP gives a smaller modern file, and SVG is the one to pick for print because it scales to any size without going blurry.
Can I change the design of a QR code later?
Yes. Your content and style settings stay saved in this browser, so reopening the page brings back exactly where you left off. You can then restyle the code and download it again at any time - just remember to replace previously printed copies.
