Wi-Fi QR Code Generator
Share your Wi-Fi without saying the password out loud: guests scan the code with the phone camera and join the network directly. Free, no sign-up.
Content
Choose what people get when they scan the code.
Fill in the details you want to share - scanning the code saves them straight to the phone as a contact card.
Scanning the code joins the network straight from the iOS and Android camera apps. The details are kept in this browser only.
Create an EPC (SEPA) payment code: banking apps in euro countries scan it to prefill a transfer - no account access is shared. Amounts are in EUR.
A full code, or a short code with a city, e.g. 9G8F+6X Berlin. Find it in Google Maps under the place's address.

How to make a Wi-Fi QR code in 3 steps
- Enter the network name (SSID), pick the encryption type and type the password.
- Style the code in step 2 if you want - colors, logo, frame or a template.
- Download it, test-scan it with your own phone, then print it or share the image.
What happens when someone scans a Wi-Fi QR code
The code encodes your network details in the standard WIFI: format that QR scanners understand: network name, security type and password in one pattern. The camera apps on iPhone (iOS 11 and later) and Android (10 and later) read it and offer to join the network straight away, without anyone typing the password; some phones ask for one confirmation tap first. Older devices may need a free scanner app that can join networks. Type the network name exactly as it is broadcast, because SSIDs are case-sensitive, and choose the right encryption - WPA for almost every home router, or no password for an open guest network. The details you enter stay in this browser only, and printing the code at least 2 cm wide keeps it easy to scan.
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Creating, styling and downloading QR codes here costs nothing, requires no registration and adds no watermark. There is no paid version of this tool.
Do the generated QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly inside the pattern, so the code itself never expires and depends on no service. A URL code keeps working as long as the website it points to stays online.
Can I use the QR codes for my business?
Yes. The codes are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial projects, products and paid advertising. No attribution is required.
Which download format should I choose?
PNG is the safest all-round choice for screens and documents, JPG is fine when file size matters, WebP gives a smaller modern file, and SVG is the one to pick for print because it scales to any size without going blurry.
Can I change the design of a QR code later?
Yes. Your content and style settings stay saved in this browser, so reopening the page brings back exactly where you left off. You can then restyle the code and download it again at any time - just remember to replace previously printed copies.
